People fear the culture will make them live by what is written. This is a lie and people are choosing their one oppression. No Man/Wombman is obligated to do anything by the words written.

Marriage:

-- In the Community of the Prophet. Tribes were of many ethnic groups, colors/ appearances. Tribes lived in villages and towns. Some with their people and some with many different peoples. The Prophet placed on each Man and Wombman the correct practice of faith. And the correct practice of faith on each village, their leaders, family and each individual. In Madina, many people made it their goal to be a part of the Prophets community.

Muslims do not alter the purer practices of Islam. And a group should try to follow the simplest marriage Islam teaches. By need, a group could also use halal alternative marriage practices. But the goal is to teach the simplest practice. Follow that practice as best possible and work that each generation can get close to following the simplest halal practice.

There were people that lived in villages with tribe members that shared their ethnicity and ethnic experience. And tribes with diverse peoples. People had the freedom to accept or not accept marriage proposals from any individual or groups seeking marriage. Many group, family, and individual man and Wombman chose to live and marry in the more open community of Madina with the many peoples that lived there. The tribe they were from would later benefit from the diversity.
